알아둘 점
Turn a few minutes of walking into mindfulness by noticing each step, your breathing, and the environment around you.
Walking meditation is not about covering distance or moving as slowly as possible. It is about knowing the experience of the body while it moves. You can notice the feet meeting the ground, weight shifting, breathing, and sounds around you. When the mind moves into plans or other thoughts, recognize that gently and return to the step happening now. This makes walking meditation especially approachable for people who find long periods of sitting difficult.
수행 방법
Choose a safe, relatively quiet path and set a timer for about ten minutes. Stand still for a few breaths and feel both feet on the ground, then begin walking at a natural pace or slightly slower. Notice the cycle of lifting a foot, moving it forward, and placing it down. After a few minutes, widen attention to the legs, whole body, breathing, and sounds. At the end of the path, pause and turn deliberately before continuing. Whenever attention wanders, gently return to the physical sensation of walking.
You do not need to stare at your feet or walk at an unusually slow speed. Outdoors, keep safety first and remain aware of traffic, other people, and uneven ground. You can also practice in a hallway or small room by walking back and forth. The aim is not perfect concentration; it is repeatedly noticing where attention has gone and returning to the step you are taking.

What if I only have a little time today?
Use the smallest possible version, even if it is only one minute. Keeping a small appointment with yourself is often more useful than waiting for a perfect window.
Do I need to do it perfectly?

The aim is to notice and return, not to create the same experience every day.
